Yes and Amen

We are blessed because we believe in God's promises. These promises are contained in one book, which we call the Bible. Will God indeed make good on his promises and cause these to come to pass, just as he said? Convinced of God's faithfulness, the apostle Paul said, "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God" (2 Cor. 1:20).
